Forgone Conclusion

The start of the race
Everyone is at evens
We
all start running
But for some there's no point

Their lives are a foregone conclusion
Everyone
knows where they'll end up
Stuck behind the wooden overlord

Glowing master ordering you around
They just wander
through life
They'll all end up there
But I can't
let that happen
I will open my eyes and mind
And
see my options
There's no way I'll get chained to the desk

I can't sit still for an hour, let alone a day
My
life will never be concluded
I'll live on forever
