Who are you????

Yesterdays achievments are now blurred memories,
Saddened once bright eyes are now filled with sorrow.
Painful mental scars are born from what was once true love,
A crumbled hope of a future, I have no tomorrow.

I hoped you would forgive me,
Whence I said those harmful things.
My soul was torn in two, destroyed,
And for you, my heart always sings.

Apologies were frequent made but never understood,
The price I have payed has cost me all your grace.
If I only knew the mistakes I was making,
I now walk alone at night and wish to see your face.

My only wish was to have been forgiven,
I took for granted what we had, you and I.
A love once true, is now only a distant thought,
I sit here by myself and slowly begin to cry.

I never did really know you,
I can only wish that I did.......
