Walton, Walton (With Hope in My Heart)
The old light box up above
Is pumping out the lux,
I'm sitting on the quay;
The waves are all in flux.
An adult row rages in my ears,
So what if we split up, who cares?
At my age, results are real-time - life is now,
Get up and seize the bleeding hour.
Quiet, transcendent seagulls
Clutter the welcoming sky,
I collect beauty in shells
Let childhood come alive.
Sod the stupid bitch.
