A gentle breeze awakens the rich green leaves overhead.
Rays of sunlight filter through, lighting up different parts of your face. You move your hands through the dancing beams as if they were a part of the sunlight ballet.
The sky, spotless, save for the few wisps of a cloud fading into the brilliant blue.
Birdsong ripples and flows, passing melodies and song to and from the trees to the sky like the lapping tide.
I reach out to touch the floating shadows of the leaves, but meet with yours instead.
Hands touch
Eyes meet,
A smile settles my nerves.
I find your chest and rest my head, then fall deeply into your arms.
