Now, for those ignorant minds who dont know who Mihir Virani is , let me tell that he is the lead character of Ekta Kapoor's daily soap, "Kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi". He is the husband of the inevitable Tulsi Virani and the son of the immortal Baa ( whose age can not be calculated even by Aryabhatta ! ).

Our TV screens are flooded with daily soaps. "Kyunki....." , the cult-starter, has been very successfully succeeded by the upgraded versions like " Kahaani ghar gar ki", "Kkusum"(mark the double 'k' !), "Jassi jaisi koi nahin".... and the whole clan !! These soaps have not only deprived a million husbands of their dinner, but have also deprived( read, raped) the Indian Culture of its values. The very foundation of the Indian Value System is shaken every night. The clans of Kamoulika and Pallavi are growing like wild mushrooms in our society ! The marriage- divorce cycles flashed in these serials can actually appear as a "logical reasoning puzzle" in CAT '07 ! And the way Mr. Bajaj transfers three- four hundred crore rupees from one account into another, perhaps leads to the devaluation of the Indian Rupee !

How often I hear my mum and aunt declare these soaps "bullshit" on Wednesday ! And when Thursday comes, ladies wait for the climax and gents, for dinner....
