My mind is weakened,
By unforgiving thoughts,
Ones from my childhood,
From my past and beyond.
They ignore,
My plea for mercy,
They love,
My weakened fight,
As I alone am tortured,
By illnesses I despise.
They single me out,
And attack me,
In a way I can't express,
They find a way to hurt me,
Especially when I'm depressed.
I never have a reason,
Only a motive,
And a cause,
I fight for what I believe in,
Even if that may be wrong.
You might not understand me,
Or the ways I live my life,
But us,
We come from different parts,
Different backgrounds,
With different hearts,
We are not the same you and I,
We do not belong this way,
Even so,
We just live our lie.
