Do you know me?

You say you know me, But you don't know me
you say you can tell when I am sad But you can't
You don't know me You can't see how I feel inside,
You can't see how I smile to hold back the pain.
You cannot see that watching you do what your doing
Makes me feel low, worthless, and like trash.
Full of insecurity and fear once more
so I find myself once again building up my brick wall
Before I go where I have been before
Which means I will reject any one who tries to get close
Each and every time you shout and punch holes in our doors
shouting at me in a hateful way
doing what you want every day
smoking getting high from dawn to dusk
You're destroying our love locking me away
I will always love you and always care
I just cannot live in a house where there's anger
Holes have been punched in the doors
Or where I feel scared and insecure
My son you don't know me at all
If you do would you be doing what you do
Which is pushing me far away
Forcing to build and hide behind the wall
To a place you wont reach me
It won't mean I don't love you that I will always do
It will have to be from the distance
As behind my wall I will stay
For as long as you're behaving this way
But worst of all you can't see how much it hurts me
To have to put distance between us two
Because sometime in the future this will hurt you
But I will be so far away I won't be able to comfort you
