i watch from afar
heart beating in unison
with the waves
crashing upon the shore
she reaches
for the heavens
arms outstretched
while spinning
in pretty circles
never
once lost
she laughs, a crazy laugh
as she smiles...
knowingly
aware
of all the secrets
everyone else dreams of
as the waves
cover her feet
leaving them cold
