in your eyes i see
sparks of lightning
lighting my way
thunder invades the calm
night sky
overwhelming in it's purity
and i sleep a restless night
waiting only
to have you next to me
the sound of my heart
beating
deafens me to all else
as alone i stand
on the precipice of eternity
the golden sun kisses
the darkening sky
as though saying
'goodnight, my love..
tomorrow sings another song'
