When HE was SHOT

It is not easy, change is
hard -- and in
the same words,
as the wife of Jackie Kennedy, he
introduced himself:
and it was hot,
humid
almost unbearable when it
hit
the momentum of a
criminal
lighting off of the
mind
into darkness, even if we knew how to
separate,
it was hard to know
whether
another one had not intended to shoot
also
just because,
the feeling
of
lightened repetition:
for a
while, i walked around, not knowing
where i was or
going and when i had walked so much
as to be dead
tired,
i fell into weeping, endless sleep. woke
up
took a bath, prepared my face for
those
who knew
change was
unhappiness.
