Clouds
On one side

Dark clouds
Moisture laden
Pregnant with rain
On the other

Rain
Pretending
To descend
But
Temporarily
Postponed

Misleading sun
Gentle
Unlike
The sweltering sun
In
Unforgiving desert
Shy at first
Hesitantly broke out

With
Its customary smile
From the hazy clouds
If it was warm
I did not feel
Now chilly wind
Caresses my face
Like
A warm hand of a lover
Sending
My heart racing
But happily aching

Nature had conspired
To make my life a misery
Nurture intervened
By despatching
The loving hand of my lover

Leaves and branches
Of weak trees
Trembled for a time
Soon darkness fell
But was not time
For street lights

Any way
Came
Red at first
Later
Orange & bright white

Lighted the dark streets
What a day!
Grey clouds
Dark clouds
Pregnant with rain
Threatening
Gave way
To chilly wind

Three seasons
Minus snow( winter )
Is what I saw

All these
In one day
Pleasant day

But
The unexpected happened
Mystery of nature revealed
In the form of
Volcanic ash from Iceland

Did not allow
Planes to fly or land
Was like a dream
All the coming
And
Going
Came and went
Just in one day

Remembered it fondly
For
It happened
Just in one day

Was fascinating
Thought was dreaming
Was not a dream
For
It all happened
In front of my eyes

Nature taking its course
Reflecting what happens
To us human beings
Elation ,saddness happens
No contradiction in terms
But it happens

May be not in one day
But it comes and goes
This time it Happened
All combined
In a single day
This time it happened
Mystery of nature revealed
But not yet deciphered
