Grey morning heavy sleep
Hard to shake must of been deep
Aching body weightly as lead
refuses to leave this comfy bed
Eventually it does as it's told
Shuffling weary through the morning cold
Across the landing to the bathroom door
Familiar creaks across the floor
A glimpse in the mirror it's hard to believe
That the face staring back used to be me
Not any more its old and saggy
What used to be taut has gone all baggy
I dream about a nip and tuck
A lotto win with a bit of luck
Wrinkles and bags like a world of their own
Over years they have deepend and oh they have grown
Crows feet at the eye's i make them crinkle
Counting each side that's 60 wrinkles!!
Who is this woman? i shout in my head
Imposter intruder taken over in bed
I know that's not true it's who ive become
A old woman now that used to be young
