Changed forever

We've been 'taken over' by another company, and although still in our jobs, things are depressing as customers constantly asking how things are going, what's happening and complaining that the stock isn't up to par. Basically we're all churning them away to other stores nearby.

Do you know something? In two years l'll have my pension so'll be out of there quick as a flash. Not what l visualised, however, that's my new plan.

I love my work. I'm excellent at what l do. I care for our precious, paying customers. It's heartbreaking to see the declining number of our regulars. This is directly due to tat being piled as high as possible, selling low and even lower.

As a sales person, l am the one who takes your hard earned money, make sure you're leaving the shop happy, had a great experience and will return. It's difficult to keep up that positivity under such an immense change that happened literally overnight but l'll take comfort in the fact l'm lucky to have a job at all.
