Compassion is a crime - might is right
Don’t turn over and switch on the light
Welcome to the New World
Truth is dead, the news all lies
Look! at the drone swarm darkening the skies
There’s a deal to be made but everbody dies

Put on your mask, take part in the show
Narcissists, narcissists, everywhere you go!
It’s a shit-stained, twenty-four hour imbroglio
Welcome to the New World
Raise your right hand, bend at the knee
God is the Devil you always wanted him to be
March to the front - just don’t pick me!
Welcome to the New World
A world without feature, a world without grace
Where Pilgrims of Hope drift from place to place
Kiss goodbye your sweetheart, wipe your tear-stained face

You have summed up the new world very well, sadly! It certainly isn't the new world most of us want. Hopefully it may prove to be a temporary blip, but I don't suppose it will be. A great poem! You summarise the sadness of it very accurately!
