Father's Day.

Today is Father’s Day. How can this Special day be summed up. I saw a video yesterday, I showed it to my husband later and it made him cry. To me, this sums up today.

A Woman went with flowers to lay them in memory of her Mum, who died on the Air India disaster.

The young woman than caught sight of her Mum, and in total shock and disbelief, she collapsed to the ground, then she picked herself up and within a few steps she was in front of her Mum. She then hugged her Mum and cried aloud! At that moment, no one else mattered, it was just the both of them, hugging tightly. The young woman, her legs weak with joy, she was hardly able to stand!

It was a raw, but beautiful, touching moment, thinking her beloved Mum was on the ill-fated plane, it tuned out she was not, she was on a different flight, because she was late and missed it.

The Gift was each other. Those who saw the video, saw true, pure love, in action.

I don’t know what that is like, but, to me, this sums up Father’s Day.
