ODDS. Part One.

If someone was to guess how they thought they would die, out of ten possibilities, what are the chances of this happening?
Two youths age just twenty-one steal a car and the next day, they are chased by the police in it.
They go that fast, that they crash into a care home and they crash through the wall, killing a woman in her 90’s and a woman in her 80’s they injure eight, that they end up in hospital.
The odds of those 8 making a full recovery, would be slim.
They both should go to jail for life, for murder.
The sad thing is, they didn’t die!!! Now if they had both died, that would have been justice! But as it is, justice will not be served. I feel sorry for the children of these ten people who have been killed or hurt.
These people in their twilight years, grandmothers, grandfathers, mothers, fathers, aunts, uncles, cousins, friend, neighbour, great grandmother, great grandfather, brother, sister and more, their lives snuffed out or bones broken, due to thoughtfulness of these to thugs!
They have inconvenienced, the other residents, who like routine, they all had to be moved to another care home, as their home was wrecked!
They should be made an example of, to deter the next lot who want to steal a car and go for a ‘joyride.’ I feel very sorry for the lads’ parents, and siblings, how they must feel today. Knowing that they are now murders, but for them, on the positive side, knowing that they will get away with Murder!
It will be interesting to see just how little jail time they will get in jail, if anything! Thank goodness they are over 21 so we can all know their names and see their faces.
