Dripping
Inside me is a void
Begging to be filled.
And you are like water,
Splashing around my ribcage until
I overflow.
You spill past my lips and
Flow down my body and
Crash at my feet and
Stream away as quickly as you came.
You leave me shaking and weeping,
Scared to look and see you leaving,
Scrambling for another fix and then
You return and pour
Down my throat and
Through my veins and
Out through my fingertips,
Dripping through the cracks in the floor and
Putting me right back where I started again.
