You Don't Know What You Ask Of Me

You don't know what you ask of me
I stand here still wondering why
I still feel you near me
I know not where you lie
I still here your voice asking for opinions
I still see your eyes wide with wonder
Where did I go wrong why did this end
How do you breathe without me
Am I to grin an bare it
Carry this pain because ?
Who would listen to your dreams ?
Who can keep you stable ?
No sense in knowing....
No help in keeping the photos hidden away in boxes
What if in 20 years you finally understood ?
Did you ask ?
Do you remember ?
Do you think you know who this is about ?
Was that last touch enough to last ?
In this darkness I am blind... With you I could see like the
others
In my last moments it won't be with you in the physical
In this story there is no victim
In your head there will always be a victim
Hide as you may
I still see you
I am listening
I can no longer understand I shall never forget
I will move on I am stronger I am what you are not
I have what you can no longer give anyone else
I offer it back to you...Here take it !
You don't know what you ask of me....
