Road Haze

White-van man, Sunday drivers
Mrs middle of the road
A cricket pitch in transit
Pursuing Castle-sized, wide load
Do they work out where I'm going?
And rush to be their first
In my following the one in front
I'm considerably, cursed
Tractor trailing, at two miles an hour
Bends are all insight
Low loaders, ride on mowers
Can they not see, my sorry plight?
I want to get from A to B
Without there purposeful delay
I've filled my car with rabbits feet
To keep their hex at bay
Cars with no obvious driver, visable!
How can they see the road?
Lorry hooligans, gestering
Their destination, female goad
Boy racers with manhole exhausts
Vying with their mates
Posh blokes, diving, for the windscreen
To prove their bag inflates!
Mr Rev at traffic lights
Proving he's a man
Mr Switch and Mr Twiddle
Look! I've got a fan!
Mr Shiny, just bought a body kit
Squeezing behind the wheel
Mr Wax, out with his vax
In his polished, E reg deal
The older generation
Griped steadfast, trying to steer
Mrs it's an air loom
A blast from yester year
Mr I'm inadequate
Well he could have bought a house
Shiny paintwork stuns
Baggy trousers for his nouse
They're all out there and there waiting
In every village, every street
I think I'll buy a bike
Or even better, use my feet!
