Iam me, or so I say

Individual

The same in every way

Born as any other soul

Yet, mind and will

Decline control

Zigzagging each dictated line

Contesting even situate time

Every slant has copious side

Igniting air and breathing tide

Verdant flame and airborn earth

Heartening grief and dismal mirth

Elemental rules depart

As solitary blends apart

Bound by life's, corporal decree

Mind and spirit shackled free

Winter blazes land and ocean

Summers chilly arctic motion

Defying essence soars within

Histories outlooks

Muted din

Tender tempests welting rock

Eternity ebbs

Exceeding clock

Awake as moon lights, every star

Asleep as daylight, dims a far

Moving closer in reverse

Cordially pleasant

Callously terse

Faster as I'm slowing down

Static as I move around

Knowing me

And wondering, who

I am me
