You looked so small against the sea
As we pitched pebbles into the mire
You were tired, and asked a favour of me
To hitch you on my shoulders higher
Comprehending life's great path
As we walked with aching soles
We released the ball from its slumber
And counted the afternoon in goals
We read tall tales of triangle pointers
And discussed the days event
With washing lines, friends or horses
Great epic times are spent
Never be afraid or lonely
Oscandos and Milton Keynes
For you are my past present and future
The pinnacle of my dreams
