Part one - cut short
I went to work this morning
Up at 7 and out the door
I never even thought
That a plane would hit my floor.
I'd just gone
On my first coffee break
When all of a sudden
The building began to shake.
I looked out at the view
And screaming down on top of me
A passenger-full Boeing 767
The scariest thing I'd ever see.
A huge explosion and it went black
No feeling or suffering or pain
I'll never again be able to laugh
To hear the patter of late-night rain.
My life cut short at 26
So many things yet to do
Never get to meet ol' Dubya
Or see my nephew live to two.
I'll never get married
And have a happy loving wife
Never get to love anyone
Because today I lost my life.
All because some rich terrorist
Is fed up with being ignored
My life was ended this morning
By an LA plane at 8:44.
Part two - questionnaire for a terrorist
How far would you go
To make people listen?
How far would you go
To get your voice heard?
What would you do
To save your country?
What would you do
To take others' life?
What would it take
To start a war?
What would it take
To give your life for the cause?
Could you kill yourself
To have revenge?
Could you take others with you
In order to avenge?
Could you fly a plane?
Could you live for years?
Knowing that at the end
There would be only tears?
Could you make friends and enemies?
Could you live abroad?
And could you give all that up?
Could you be that fraud?
If the answer is yes
To all the above
Say goodbye to friendship
The hope of love
You've entered the terrorist world
Now. You've stopped being free
You're in our clutches now
There's no last request, no plea
For mercy when you're caught.
You're entering a dark land
And the possibility of love
Is officially
Banned.
