In a sea of jet black
One strand of grey hair

Signs of youth and age
In our facial features

Thoughts become words
Dark lines written a surface

The shape of our physique
Whether its wanted or not

The precision of lines
Diagram the dramatic architecture

Darkness combined with Light
Makes shades of grey

It makes grey matters

This is what becomes through Darkness
Lines, shape, details, and shades

White as the clouds in the sky

Earths color
Brown lumber, Brown soil
My Brown skin

Blue skies, Blue Oceans

The boldness of red
In every rose, sweet taste, sign etc.

As bright as the yellows, blues, oranges &; greens
Like the brilliant colors of Mardi Gras
Or the first perfect day in Spring

Prominent red, white, and blue
Our own symbol of patriotism

The multicolored rainbow's seen
From every smiling face
to the mists of Victoria Falls

Color palette spun round
By design creating White
Not the other way around

This is what becomes through Color
Life, diversity, uniqueness, and Beauty

Ignorance will distort the beauty of darkness &; color
Especially when it on someone's flesh

In all it's glory, splendor and radiance
Life defined by darkness and colors fancy
My darkness &; color is a known Universal Legacy
