There's this part of British culture,
That comes up when you're feeling down and under,

It's a beverage in a mug given with the words;

It's this kind of brew in a cup,
Automatically expected to cheer you up,
So when everything gets tough,
And the going is extremely rough,
Always be on the lookout and you will definitely hear;
How 'bout a nice cuppa tea dear.

Imagine when you tell your neighbour your dogs' dead,
Or your son just fell and hurt his head,
Try telling them your house has burnt down,
Or that you believe your spouse is messing around,
You'll just have to grit your teeth because someone will surely
say;
Have you had a nice cuppa tea today?
