Well, after six months in Thailand, I'm back in the USA. Naturally, it's all very different and richer. Though I've had a few days to hang around, I'm still kind of in shock. I dropped in on a long time friend: Eric Beekman. He's amazing at juggling and devil sticks. Back in junior high, he was better at long distance running than our other local star Eon Dobson, who I believe is now the US #1. That's not very meaningful in a real or "beat" sense.
Last night, my stepmom prepared a delictable crab pasta and we had it with some decent chardonnay. This morning I had a couple cups of coffee and strolled over to the clubhouse. While I was waiting for the intern., a little boy opened the bathroom door for me. He was having trouble but he was determined to do it himself and I waited. The young have such confidence and desire to learn. Afterwards, he pointed me out to his dad: "That's the guy I opened the door for."
I'm on vacation on the Oregon coast where the weather isn't too cold and the air is the stuff of inspiration.
