HUMATERNITY, a letter to editor

Today, I'd like to introduce a political term I've come up with, that I believe expresses ideas that are emerging among many thoughtful people. It's "HUMATERNITY," in a sense a fusion of "humanity," "maternity," and "fraternity" (without the sexually exclusive meaning.) "Maternity" honors motherhood and Gaiia. Fraternity means a brother-like association of men, but "humaternity" doesn't mean only a brother-like association of humans across the world: because "humanity" means not only "mercy" but "civilization," the maintenance of which generally mandates semi-humane action. However, America and Europe carry "mercy" to some extremes, like indulgent treatment of violent crimminals.
Then, we extend the same treatment and imprisonment to people who are not crimminals but members of counter-cultures that believe in mind-alteration(Shakespeare, Van Gogh, The Beatles, Wagner, Voltaire, and countless others shared these practices.) Actually, even wealthy and influential men are only a false rape accusation and a roll-of-the-dice away from prison and perhaps semi-torture.
Perhaps the primary cause of this anarchy is neglect of the arts of humanity and civilization(like philosophy and especially history.) In today's America, everybody must go to college and P.H.D.s are handed out like retirement watches for work, conformity, and a price. However, an education is very hard to find: such is usually got from rogue professors and long hours in forgotten corners of libraries.
Perhaps it's in such a library that you've come across this letter. As usually with controversial truths: read between the lines, and then apply it.
