To Love Once Again

If given the chance, to love once again
I'd try my best to do it this way
I would take her places, she’s never been
Say I love you to her every day
I'd kiss her as I rise to the morning sun
And I'd hold her, each and every night
I'd write her poems, saying she is the one
That makes my days happy and bright
Treat her like a Queen, my lover, my friend
Hold her hand, wherever we may go
Be the rock she leans on, never waver or bend
Pick her up if she is feeling low
But mostly, I guess, I would always be me
And thank the Lord in Heaven above
For one more chance for setting me free
For allowing me to just be in love
