Your Twelve Red Roses

With your twelve red roses
Still fresh on my table
You seduced me outright
With all you were able
I was able too
Out of loneliness and lust
Any honourable intentions
Shot to dust
Why do you come here
As Morrissey said
When you leave me so angry
Underneath my distress
I like it you see
You with your twelve red roses
I'm inured to your charm
Your voice and your poses
I'll see you again
But not before time
I'll prepare for the fight
And your oh-so smooth lines
I'm used to it now
And your impact it lessens
Which for my own wellbeing
Is surely a blessing
Goodnight my lover
And mind how you go
Keep your names in your black book
Don't forget I told you so
