My ex has a wife, his third (and last?)
She's young and Thai, so pretty, of course
I got a wee message, my son sent today
With a photo of this baby, and a note to say.

'Guess who this is? Her name is Matilda.
Dad's adopted daughter, my new little sister'.

Well ..

The shock of hearing that this old bloke,
who never lifted a finger with his boy, would cope.

My son, in his forties, has a sibling to meet,
but Thailand's not exactly just along the street.
so my lad's booked a ticket to pop over next year,
and l'm glad his little family will bring happiness and cheer.
