One Nerd's Perspective

Sunrise brings the hope of spring and azure tide.
Encased in the amber of you.
Morphing, then released. Unfurling. Realized.
Others, the pundits, I don’t deny. But hear!
The bantering, knowing, lustrous.
Credentialed brightly and paneled.
A sketch and columned Times Font.
You leapt from the center of the maelstrom.
Arcing, bold and meteorlike.
To engage both the fortress and the flank.
Fold us within your singularity.
Display the mystical six figures to the throng.
A simple amount, internalized, each in their way, by all.
You possess the key to free a nation.
You raided the New York office of my soul.
And all my world. Simultaneously.
I am locked in emerald, never to traverse, and scrutinized.
Classified and judged by the green-visored, I submit.
I want to cast myself before your jeweled feet.
Yes. This is my phone.
But I am afar.
To consider more beleaguers my rumpled heart.
There is a purpose. No Longer This. Let it be so!
Forward! To free us from this tradition. Assembled and contrived.
Advance! Our thinly-veiled Godiva. Knock all asunder.
Then, in the lee, I will abide.
Amongst the scrap, beneath the steel-blue dawn, I will smile.
Stormy.
