The ultimate goal of a man
is to stay happy as long as he can
and directs he, each of his deeds
to a goal, happiness, that breeds
Most search outer world for happiness
others search the inner world to progress.
Happiness on it has many a contemplation
as to its types, tenures, feelers, and features soon.
Some happiness disappears worsening the misery
when its cause disappears as that is transitory
Some happiness to a sector harms the creation.
some happiness happens to a sensory organ alone.
On Happiness and its categorization
here is a find from scriptural revelation.
classifying happiness to three as thus
Sattva, Rajas and Tamas
Initially bitter but turns nectar later
is satavic happiness’ potency and character
Man’s indulgences for sensory pleasure
on satavic happiness man’s vision, they blur.
Satavic happiness within us we discover.
Never it depends on situations exterior.
Initially sweeter, poisonous is the effect latter
is rajasic happiness [ptent in sensory pleasure
that depend on elements exterior
on its disappearance, this happiness disappears.
Unwise man thinking it as happiness real
toils and moils but sorrow and frustration take the toll.
The happiness at the cost of others
obtained with nefarious acts not sanctioned by scriptures
is Tamasic Happiness with pure transitory pleasure
this man with demonic character hankers after.
(N. B -Passion, active, confused, (rajas),
Dullness or inertia darkness, destructive, chaotic (tamas),
and goodness or purity goodness, constructive, harmonious (sattva).)
