It is good to shop around.
Slowly our tv remote, needed new batteries, I did without it as long as I could. I then went to my supermarket and with my shopping, added the batteries. I only wanted two, but the branded one that the store had, came in packs of four. So, I bought the four, it cost £5. That was very expensive but I think it will last about 3 years! A week later, I was with someone else, they were doing their shopping and went into a smaller store. This store sells a bit of everything. It is a nice shop, but I don’t go into it a lot, as it is out of the way. In this shop, when I came to the battery section, I was shocked to see the same branded battery that I had bought from the superstore, in this shop, it was £2.50! I was shocked.
I wanted to buy today, a hard case for my toothbrush. I decided to shop around, as I had the time, if the first price was not right. The first store I went to, a branded store, in the store, it cost £2 I thought that was a bit steep, so I thought, I would try the shop opposite. In that store they were selling them for £1.50.
The next store I went to, the one where the batteries were, it cost £1.
I wondered if the other cheaper store a few yards away, would that be cheaper? I found it in there for 59p!
So, for a few hundred yards, I got a bargain! Was chuffed to bits.

need it or want it?
Shopping to some people is like sport, like athletics and that kind of thing, recreation.
Must be great to have so much money, to bore you so about prices of batteries. Uncle Nolan said that if he saw something in the shop that he liked he picked it up around in his hand looked turning and asked himself "do I need it. Or do I want it?'
I knew a lady who read all the supermarket glamour advertisement pamphlets she was terribly boring over the telephone.
We have no mercy here for poverty and for poor people, a very small tin of soda is R5 a 2 litre is R20. Pennywise, pound foolish.
