Inner Wake-up Call

[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series]
Who heeds His call of ‘Come to Me,
all weary, hungry, thirsty, sad:
receive all grace and be set free –
for I, your Lord, can make you glad'?
But then He calls within my heart
to wake ‘heart-ears’ to truly hear
and comprehension, ‘sight’ impart,
desire to come while He is near.
And so that changes everything
– confusion, boredom, anger, fear:
life now makes sense, my heart can sing –
reborn, heart cleansed, a Helper dear.
Tune: LM eg ‘Church Triumphant’ by James Elliott, tune of ‘I know that my Redeemer liveth’
[IP: The call that changes everything]

he is knocking at your door!
Beautiful, Rhiannon!
Softly Jesus is calling" one of my favourite sunday school songs, we often we sang it in the mornings in the hospital and the midway home.
The Afrikaans in this case is especially lovely, "saggies is die roepstem van Jesus.
There was a blackout the whole of Sunday.
All the best for a wonderful week! Nolan &
