I will leave it open to interpretation Art. In terms of the structure though, another poet was giving me some constructive criticism about reducing my poems. I feel like this piece is reduced as far as it can go. I think my next submission could be better - perhaps a blank piece of paper. That would be saying everything and nothing all at once. 

I love receiving counsel - it means someone thinks I'm worth trying to improve.

Don't beat yourself up Holly, it's too easy to do as a writer. It's when you walk away from your work for awhile and come to read what you've done, you kinda realize... "Wow, did I write that... Wow!" And then you read the good stuff!  laugh Believe you can... And You Will... you'll see how much your voice grows and the realization comes when you least expect it and when you aren't seeking it... Just like Love & Kittens!
