Randomness Chapter 1

“Hey” Called Ellie, a girl with bleach blonde hair (yea I know bleach blond but it is natural and I hate her for it) green eyes, perfect skin, and a high metabolism.
“Oh hey what’s going on” I asked
“Nothing really you” she asked
“Same just getting ready to go home” I said as I shoved my giant algebra book into my bag.
“Today is Monday.” she emphasized the word
“What am I psychic or something” I asked her and then it hit me chess practice damn it ( I know what you’re thinking chess practice what a geek but well we are all geeks at heart but the only reason I joined the chess club was for the guys but none of them are cute and it sucks but the coach is pretty cool) “Okay my bad chess practice right” I asked she gave me a triumphant smile
“Well you’re a bright one aren’t you” she replied
“Yea I guess I am aren’t I” I said
“Alright let’s go” she said

Okay so we walked down crowded hall toward the library where would be sitting about twelve people and today was the start once again of elections for captain, co-captain, secretary, and treasurer. I can’t believe I really decided to join chess club but in a way I like it, I know it isn’t a sport but I am not coordinated enough for a sport I trip on the air all the time. We finally made it to the library I took my usual seat at the back against a wall of books that I would read while I waited for my opponent to make his move.

“Okay is everyone here” Coach Remax asked
“It looks that way but you are pretty blind you might wanna call some type of role” I said sarcastically
“Well we all know you’re here so maybe we should just leave” he said back and then we both laughed
“Well down to business now as all of you know today is elections and we have a new member” he said and pointed to the back.
I realized I hadn’t even looked around I was just so used to the usual crowd that I didn’t see any point in looking around. Ellie nudged me so I turned around and looked back and was astonished to see him he was tall, lean and had beautiful muscles, he was light skinned not white but not black and not Spanish I was guessing he was an islander of some kind. He had buzz cut short black hair and the most beautiful hazel eyes I thought I had ever seen. Wait!!!! Am I gawking at a guy that is in chess club this is definitely a twist to my day, week, month, oh and year!!
“Hi” He said he had an accent not like really noticeable but still audible. His voice was like honey deep and sweet and unbelievably rough all at the same time.
“My name is Jerel Snow it is a pleasure to meet you all” he said
“Now I want all of you to give your names and grades so that he knows something about you” Coach Remax said
“Hi my name is Leslie and I’m a Sophomore” said a short boy with blonde hair and blue eyes he skipped two grades and Coach Remax can’t stand him but needs him on the team so is very careful with what he says.
“My name is Mark” said a boy with brown hair that barely touched his ears and had brown eyes.
“Oh and I’m a junior” and he is about 6’3
“Oh and I’m Eddie” said a boy with jet black hair deep brown eyes and he is Mexican
“And I am also a junior” he said
“I’m Ellie I’m a sophomore” “ I’m an Aquarius, 5’8 and I love Italian” she said
“Well that was informal” I whispered to her with a giggle
“My name is Elissa but most people call me Mae and I’m a sophomore” I said and as for a description I have strawberry blonde hair or auburn which ever you prefer blue/grey eyes im about 5’4 and I have semi perfect skin and an okay metabolism.
“It is a pleasure to meet you all” he said politely ( little did I know that later on this guy would cause me so much unwanted trouble.)
