Vampires Exist

Well for a kid like me to get to go to a prestigious academy like the one I am now at I am truly lucky but with every bit of luck comes bad and good. This academy is special because it holds many unearthly secrets that I may not need to know but I have acquired the knowledge on accident many occasion. You see I have gifts and when I first started attending the school I didn’t know how to control them the way I do now. One of my gifts is touching something and being able to describe it just by touching or grazing it once in perfect detail along with that when I touch something I see everything that has happened in it’s presence or sometimes I do and on one of those special occasions when I touched the headmasters desk I saw him talking with a man who had talked him into allowing vampires to stay on the same campus but not just any vampires if the King would accept a pure blood very powerful, then the other vampires will follow him because the vampires want to co exist by using blood tablets this is a possible thing not that it is very probable.Yo0u see there is a catch to there agreement the humans and the vampires are only allowed certain occasions on which they get to see each other the upcoming one is the fall dance. You see another thing that comes with all this knowledge is responsibility I am to watch the girls of the Day class as I call it. I personally have never seen them up close I have seen them from far away and I plan to keep it that way I am afraid of what might happen if I lose control of my gifts. I mean I don’t know what all of them are I am afraid around my own people not that I would ever show it that is a weakness but they say admit weakness and gain ten times strength so who knows. Tomorrow is the big dance and I hear that the Night class just obtained new students and a few visitors. Well that is basically all I know and I am very smart for a human I am practically a genius I am almost as smart as some of the vampires I think I can’t be precise.
I am an orphan that is why it was such a shock to be able to go to this school but the headmaster had heard of my spectacular grades so he says but I know better he had heard something else maybe something about my gifts but whatever it was there is a reason I am here. I haven’t figured out why I am here but it will eventually come to me I am sure but for now I will be content.
I want to be a singer and write and perform my own songs not that anyone will ever know this because it is as far from possible as it could be. I know that sounds pessimistic but it is reality and I learned that reality sucks a long time ago.
I headed out my dorm at four in the morning it is time for my shift I have never had this shift time before and now I see why I didn’t want it all the vampires are out at this time you see something I might have forgotten to mention the whole vampires can’t walk in the sunshine thing is a lie it is something that people use as a way to stay naïve I know it may sound retarded but it is the truth.
That is when I saw him for the first time and I knew exactly who he was when our eyes met it was him Aaron the Vampire King he stared at me for a moment and then kept walking it was as if he was trying to look inside of me but he got frustrated, and then I saw her and she came running my way she was definitely not a vampires student because her fangs were out sometimes being human sucks she’s a rogue some how I just have all the luck. She was pretty but I wasn’t going to let her eat me then he came out of nowhere and stopped her Aaron he slashed her and then she died and then another vampire came over to clean up the mess for him. She had slit me with her nails they were sharp and no doubt filled with poison or there was poison on the tips.
“Are you alright” he asked looking me in the eyes I was almost stunned by his beauty it was amazing how handsome he was. He bent down to touch my hand I backed away and got up on my own.
“I’m fine really but thank you” I said
“Well here is a little advice don’t go wandering around the dorms this time of night you are lucky to not have of got caught by the guard.”
Lucky my ass I am one of the guard but I’ll keep that to my knowledge til tomorrow.
“I’ll keep that in mind”
“By the way I’m Aaron not that you probably don’t already know that” he said
“I’m a mystery and I have to get going now” I said and walked away from him other girls were starring at me from his class like I was crazy which I probably am but whatever right, right?
