Some love song touched with tragedy,
Immersed in sensitivity.
A deep humming that reaches the depths of despair.
It feels so much, it's emotionally aware.
There's a gentleness. A sweetness.
It wants to understand and be understood.
It longs for things to just be better,
More kind and caring. If only they could.
There's an element of fragility,
That needs to be treated tenderly.
A truth wrapped up in some black dress,
Asking for release by a velvet caress.
Emotions don't get much deeper.
Yearning doesn't get much sweeter.
Its ability to worship, cherish and adore.
Beautiful and precious, is the voice of Martin Gore.
