REMINDER OF A PAST

We went to his place, as usual.
He threw me on his bed.
He sighed and huffed and held his head.
"Damn you," he angrily said.
She left him two years ago.
Said she was moving far away.
But little did he know,
That he would see her again today.
She was romantically with another guy,
And she saw him with me.
Me wrapped around him was the last thing,
He wished her to see.
She looked at me and smirked.
He felt like he'd done something wrong.
She looked at him as if she knew,
He was still holding on.
She could see the clear reminder,
Of when they were together.
When she was going, he said he'd throw me out,
Of course; he never.
She now thinks he still cares,
That he's still remembering.
But what have I done wrong?
I'm just the coat she gave to him.
