I would die for you.
Is that meant to sound good?
Does it prove my love;
That it means so much?

Is it a true love statement,
I'm trying to make?
That I'd throw my life away,
For your own sake?

Does it say there is no-one,
That I could love more?
Or it's you that my heart,
Feels it is beating for?

Is it ultimate romance;
A love story touched by tragedy?
The most extreme expression,
Of what you truly mean to me?

But what craziness would that be?
What use is it when I'm dead?
I think it might be better,
If I live for you instead.

Love lives. It breathes.
It inspires, it intrigues.
It is beauty. It's an energy.
Without life, what can it be?

Love gives life another reason,
Something else to try to understand.
Living for love and loving to live.
Love and life go hand in hand.
