Four thoughts dome on my pillow and entwine in a state of post sleep
Pastel images and confused words try and trace the way to my lips
As I tumble through a dizzy splendour of our first meet.
Obstacles try to distract the alarming celebration my mind makes of you
From pretty, pompous memories, concerns until a device bleeps
Or a barrier is broken, and minds mental will is lost. Thoughts left of content, are few.
When dreams are done and I dreadfully wake I wish to return
And if a fugitive from breathy nightmares my morning woes are hard to compare.
Every day I pledge an oath to hate you but my morning blur has yet to learn.
