Cavalierly, the cavaliers exhibited what even their admirers would have
described as cavalier behavior: no one, then, was surprised when the
cavalry had to be called upon to quell their cavorting with assorted
cavies in the corrupt port of Cavite; in their defense, their
counselors importuned that the charges against these cayenne-blooded
'chargers' amounted to so much carplike caviling.
