J-Into the void of Despair

I chanced upon a secret garden,
You were the flower and I the thorn,
Graced with trust and love,
I pricked your petal and injured you,
Now cast am I into this void of despair,
A Torment of my own making,
Where the sun of your love never shines,
Where the darkness is complete and final.
Is forgiveness too much to beg?
Is absolution a far-flung fantasy?
Inside this void of Despair,
So stark a cold is your absence,
So black a night is your displeasure,
This has become eternal hell on earth,
And the fault is mine alone to swallow,
The subtle choking particle of sin.
How my breath comes so short!
A heart without pulse or rhythm,
The void of Despair remains my home.
I shall never surface from it.
