Eye of the Fool

First of all, flick your hair and smile engagingly...
Then ask her about the time when you accidentally saw her last, what
she was doing, why she was there etc. etc.
By now, she should be responding. A slight smile, musical laughter,
provocative getures...all of these show that you are on the right
lines.

Now, when dancing in a cirle, sidle up next to her and whisper in her
ear. You see that look? Unashamed lust? Good, now go in for the
kill..."

"Ouch! Ker-ist, what was that for?"
"You know very well what for, you slippery bastard."
And promptly emptying the contents of her glass over his neatly
coiffed, $320 haircut, she stormed out of the room without so much as a
backwards glare."

He thought gamely that maybe she was a little too simple to realise his
true intentions, but a little voice in the back of his head suggested
that the slight smile was a smirk, the laughter was derisive, not
musical and the provocative gestures? Crossed arms and legs? He thought
she trying to convey...well...

His "better" judgement overcame all of these worrying niggles and with
a parting thought of "mille-nerke", he set out to try plan B....
