Isolation

Deprived of society for an hour or so
In Isolation.
No contact at all.
An hour of waiting, again.
Maybe if I sit
Facing the door,
I can
pretend for a while...
Is this what it is really like to be
Lonely?
Fifteen minutes have passed
And they seem like an eternity.
But I've only just
got here?
Already I?
I don't.
I don't
miss the common room
Tomfoolery.
I miss something
else entirely.
And I anticipate putting my plan into action.
Tonight.
