Spectacular spectacular

Roll up, roll up. Ladies and Gentlemen, please take your seats, the
show is about to begin...

Showcased here we have the "lonely author". Look at how she writes
impassively, shielded from the cold by a blanket, coughing chronically,
taking inspiration from distant memories and jilted love.

She closes her eyes against the smoke of her cigarette and the memories
of times past when a happier situation was manifest. A singe tear
falls. A tear that writes a thousand words.

But, Ladies and Gentlemen, this is merely an illusion. Our "lonely
author" has remained in a state of suspended animation for over 100
years yet she hasn't aged. Is it her memories that keep her
young?

Or is it just a dream....
