Fun, young, untroubled thing
Where hast though lately been?
I've been looking mostly everywhere
But you're nowhere to be seen.
Your heart still beats,
Your blood still runs
And your face is much the same.
But your spirit dull and sour has grown
And is playing that hide-away game.
I'll find you, you rascal,
And I'll pull you out
From your damp, dark, murky den.
I'll dust you down
And clean you up
And put you back in the gold play-pen.
