Day

Fresh dew sits on floundering pastures
Birds sing in the trees their morning raptures
The sunlight breaks the clouds to shed morning light
Seems so long the moon passed in the silent night
What once was betwixt and between
Now makes a glorious morning scene
The decadence of orange in the early morn sky
Another day is born as the night does die
Clouds pass through sky like going somewhere
The birds still singing as they soar in the air
The sun reaches newer heights in the sky
As so quickly the morning has passed us by
Into new territory again it does seem
The afternoon light down on us does beam
Flowers respond to the heat and the light
Embracing the day before it fades to night
Into the evening the sun does stride
As the day slips by , time does abide
Clouds start to form which are black with hate
As the sunlight does fade and the night does await
