Drinking depression of the day
Carefully scale up and down
this destruction that you create
lifelong agony I am crowned.
To look upon the cradled world
with its crazed and judgemental eye
and face the night that slowly creeps
to dream the soulful dreamer's lie.
I feel my death like never before
raging along my year long line
its temper gaining on my step
and beating down my loved one's shrine.
Watching funeral of the day
family blue on drying cheek
to curse every laughing one to hell
and watch within my fumbled speak.
And so to feel my lonely life
revolting, hurtling, toward the end
and to my death, I raise my hand,
to the demon twilight, I descend.
