Exult in my happiness

Exult in my happiness,
Be not tearful, nor angry
At my choices for they are my own;
Sometimes instinctive, sometimes fraught
Over, this path I lead,
And there is no place for fear
But Many times I shall be fearful.
If you have a strong heart and humble soul
Then nothing can harm you.
Your steps on a broken pavement
Will become a waltz from one point
To the other, and onlookers will marvel.
But do not do this for them with
Expectations of love and adulation returned,
This will turn you to a sore fellow
And the grumblings of your heart
Will rock with painful thunder.
Do this for them with all the love
That you have for yourself
And a light will shine from you
More powerful than words on paper,
Or money in a bank.
While I take my route don't
Look on with disdain, or force
Upon me feelings of guilt and shame.
This is the path I have chosen
And I've a right to walk it.
I do so now with the purity
Of nature, for we are born perfect
And always will be. It was intended
For us to shape and maintain the
Future of things,
Step forward and be.
