Fell So Far

Dropped my teddy bear,
Down and down it fell so far,
Cut myself on consequence,
But it didnt leave a scar,
Found my mind trapped in a box,
Hurt myself to break it free,
Bled emotion on this page,
Close my eyes but i still see,
Laid myself onto the fire,
Burnt myself to feel alive,
Pulled a knife across your throat,
Just so i could see you die,
Looked out on the plain or hate,
Saw the truth and lies collide,
Saw a ghost behind your face,
Time and again i'll swallow pride,
Splintered bonds, i am so numb,
See you there i hide my face,
Split my chest, look at my heart
You will never rule this place.
